Luke started Doormate in 2017, back when it was known as Central Vic Garage Doors, with the sale of a motor and a single door. From there he built a thriving business on the basis of solid workmanship, classic country integrity, and treating people like people, not sales numbers.

Over the next couple of years the demand for his services kept growing. Luke needed another pair of hands. So in 2019, his wife Wendy joined the team full time to assist with all aspects of the business from admin to door installations. Doormate only grew faster.

They didn’t do a lot of marketing, they didn’t do a heap of advertising. They simply showed up day-in day-out, with the goal of helping people and making getting a new garage door easy, straightforward, and exceptional. Word of mouth did the rest.

Doormate now has a core team of four who go above and beyond to achieve the perfect fit for every client. They’re here to lend a hand to their community. That’s their mission, that’s their purpose, and they do it damn well.
